Smaller Projects
Private Garden, Oxfordshire
A raised paving area at the end of the garden to sit in the afternoon & evening sun, and incorporate those beautiful views with a glass of wine.
The slabs were Golden Fossil Sandstone, laid in a coursed pattern with cotsworld stone rep. blocks for edge the front radius giving it a step up. Both the coursed pattern of the slabs and the fronting stone blocks replicate the already used materials and pattern of the house.
Oak sleepers were used to give enclosure to the back sides of the paving in long but narrow set of raised beds down two sides, surrounding you with some tall and gentle perennials and grasses.
Private Garden, Oxfordshire
A little sandstone (again Golden Fossil) paved area with two new concert (and slabbed) steps, and a granite composite raised deck at the far end for BBQ's. All tied together with the Charcoal edging sets and step risers.
We also put down a new paved side access alleyway from old existing slabs, plus new turf to the front lawn.
Private Garden, Somerset
This scheme involved removal of a large concrete base and foundation to a glass house, a stone soak-away base putting down to increase the drainage, re-profiling ground and turfing . We also installed new Paths with aggregate foundations, and self bound gravel, lawn repair, the construction of a children's play hills with connecting tree trunk all from excess materials, plus new drainage, water pipes, ditching etc of other part to the site.

Small back garden, Bristol
After a extension at the back of their house (with floor to ceiling glass bi-folds) the view into the garden became key. To maximise the small space, we raised the level of the garden to that of the new kitchen and used the same stone paving inside and out. Oak posts give the impression of a screen without being too solid. Two deep planting beds, again, make best use of the restricted space, edged with Oak borders. Nice light shingle was used for the paths to compliment the paving.
The clients, keen gardeners, wanted to fill and plant the beds themselves.
